Zesty's Lemonade Stand
I was selected to take part in the Make Shift Camp
in the Pervasive Media Studio at Watershed in Bristol.
Eight amazing practitioners from different areas of Creative Technology came together and spend one week exploring all things AI - Artificial Ineptitude.
This resulted in three really cool prototypes celebrating ineptitude and inefficiency.
Everyone contributed to everything quite a bit and every single idea had some hints of everyone's practice and views in it.
The collaborative and playfully open atmosphere was very inspiring!
After the ideation phases, I mainly contributed to 'Zesty's Lemonade Stand' - A lemonade stand powered by AI.
Visitors could head to the craft table and create, modify or choose a lemon (or something resembling a lemon) and then add it to a bowl for Zesty to judge.
Zesty would keep kicking out one lemon, that would be least suitable for making lemonade. The lemons that survived the longest were made into Lemonade.
We showcased Zesty to the public at Watershed's
First Friday Showcase in September.
